Babatunde Olayinka is a Senior Associate and a member of the firm’s Corporate and Commercial team.
He specialises in and regularly advises clients on Telecommunications, Media and Technology, Immigration, Labour & Employment, and Aviation matters. He presently advises on acquisition of telecommunications service licences and on compliance with telecommunications laws and regulations. He also advises operators on aircraft relocation, registration and leasing, as well as aircraft securities finance transactions. In addition, he advises clients on cross-border corporate acquisition transactions, and assists with the negotiation of contracts.
Babatunde was a crucial part of the team which advised on the establishment of some of the pioneer series of exchange-traded Index funds in the country. He has advised on property acquisition & conveyance and assisted in perfection of title at various land registries. He has also done dispute resolution work, including commercial litigation in diverse commercial practice areas and intellectual property disputes.
